The Marici Fellowship planting trees!

The Marici Fellowship Branch out event on this past Saturday was a special event. We were requested to come back to this location by Christine Clark, a Green Seattle Forest Steward and representative of the local Duwamish area community group. We made many new friends and plan to come together for future planting events.
We were able to help restore 400 plants as needed underbrush to this amazing area, It was a beautiful sunny day, with the small stream flowing in the background of the prayer ceremony created by H.E. Avikrita Rinpoche, and led by H.E. Zaya Rinpoche, and the Sakya Monastery resident monks Venerable Lama Migmar and Venerable Tashi Nyima.
We planted Oregon Grape, foam flower, wild ginger and much much more. And as a bonus, donuts and coffee were had by all.
